Day 17 – January 17, 2010

2010-01-17-framed

My parents came down for a visit & to bring Christmas presents! They STILL have a ton of snow at their house. Collin enjoyed passing out all the presents & watching Grandma & Grandpa open theirs.

Day 16 – January 16, 2010

2010-01-16-framed

Collin was so excited that he unlocked a new game in Mario 64 on his DS.

Day 15 – January 15, 2010

2010-01-15-framed

Crop night at the Coca-Cola Building – both paper and digi scrapping tonight! Yes, I am a Scrapbook Hero!

Day 14 – January 14, 2010

2010-01-14-framed

I picked up a scrapbook kit at Tuesday Morning, and Collin went to town!

Day 13 – January 13, 2010

2010-01-13-framed

Jury duty. I was juror #24. I was called in for the questioning, but did not get selected. Three months of jury service finally coming to an end!

Day 12 – January 12, 2010

2010-01-12-framed

Collin talked me into making some cupcakes. Whipped cream cheese icing…yum!

Day 11 – January 11, 2010

2010-01-11-framed

Ugh. The sewer backed up in the garage and downstairs bathroom. Had to get the sewer & drain guy to come out. He said it was “shorts weather” after the single-digit days we had last week!

Here’s a sneak peak at my Week 1 Layout. It’s going to be published in the January 2010 issue of Scrapbook News and Review Magazine, so I can’t post the full page. :)

Day 10 – January 10, 2010

2010-01-10-framed

Copper wouldn’t leave Collin alone, so he decided to take his art supplies in the bathroom and draw in the tub where she couldn’t step on his project. He drew a picture of Copper and made it an “I spy.”

Day 9 – January 9, 2010

2010-01-09-framed

Collin playing dress-up. A scary masked, pumpkin-face evil knight?

Day 8 – January 8, 2010

2010-01-08-framed

I spent most of the week working on performance appraisals and finally finished them!

Day 7 – January 7, 2010

2010-01-07-framed

Snow Day! Dad & Collin built an igloo and sprayed the inside with colored water. It was “dangerously cold” outside, but not in the igloo! Sign says “Collin’s igloo is fun.”

Day 6 – January 6, 2010

2010-01-06-framed

Crazy boy has been climbing into Copper’s kennel all through Christmas break. This time, she was already in there sleeping. A couple of cuties!

Day 5 – January 5, 2010

2010-01-05-framed

OK, so I’m a little embarrassed to post this one. I’m getting my hair highlighted (red and blonde) and cut. I had to cancel my appt. in December, so this was much overdue! What we go through for beauty!

Day 4 – January 4, 2010

2010-01-04-framed

Back to school after Christmas Break!

Sunday, January 3, 2010

Day 3 – January 3, 2010

2010-01-03-framed

It snowed again today, about an inch, with the high in the teens. Marc’s truck tire has had a slow leak that has been getting worse. He finally decided he needed to get it fixed and had to change the tire in the cold and snow.

Day 2 – January 2, 2010

2010-01-02-framed

Collin and mom were doing the Euoplocephalus glow-in-the-dark 100-piece puzzle Collin got for Christmas. You know he thinking hard when he sticks his tongue out, and I caught him just as he was rolling it!

Day 1 – January 1, 2010

2010-01-01-framed

We gave Collin a Nintendo DS for Christmas. He was getting frustrated because some of the games were a little hard. Today, Marc took him to Walmart to buy Super Mario 64, which he had played on someone’s DS at Show Me. He was SOOO EXCITED! He said, “It’s the game I’ve always wanted!” and could hardly contain himself, even by the time he got home!

Happy New Year!

 2009-12-31framed

Welcome, 2010! So I’m cheating a little and posting our New Year’s Eve photo as part of my 2010 Project 365!

We went to Angie, Jason & Nathan’s house. The boys played like crazy, esp. with Libby (the dog). We had pizza for dinner and rang in the new year at 10:00 pm our time (the boys didn’t know the difference). Collin couldn’t believe he stayed up until midnight!

Project 365 – 2010

Well, last year I began P365, but only made it through February (at least the posting part). This year, I’m starting anew. Wish me luck! You can check out my P365 blog here.

If you’re playing along, join us at Scrapbook News & Review Magazine in the forum. You can also play along at Design House Digital, where they have a challenge and some really amazing products to help you along the way! Good luck keeping up with it!
